Ginny, I am a student in a food studies program working on a paper about the potential differences between professional kitchens run by men and those run by women. Having read some of your posts commenting on the gendered nature of cooking, I was wondering in what city you work and if you would be willing to talk about this topic with me. Thanks for considering! Cheers

I’m trying to keep this blog firmly pseudonymous, and so don’t want to say publicly where I am, so that any details I might give about my restaurant don’t give me away. If you want, though, you can contact me at onesownkitchen (at) gmail, and we can discuss it privately. I’d be happy to talk about it.
